In 2020 I photographed my friends with a Zenit. Birthdays, weekends, kitchens.

I never waited for anything to happen. I just took photos.

The camera was older than all of us. It missed focus. It let in too much light, or not enough. Whatever it gave back, I held onto.

What is left is ordinary life, half visible, and it does not sit still.
